Iowa Disabled Veteran Homestead Tax Credit Program

This program offers a property tax exemption (tax break) to help lower the amount of property tax you pay. You can take part in this program if you are an honorably discharged veteran. In certain cases, if you are a surviving spouse (who has not remarried) or a dependent, you may be able to get this credit.

Iowa Military Property Tax Exemption Program

This program can help lower the property tax bill for the house you live in. You may be able to take part in this program if you are an honorably discharged veteran who has served on active duty during a period of war or for a minimum of 18 months during peacetime.

The Iowa Homestead Credit Program offers you a property tax credit to help you lower your property tax. You can take part in this program if you own a home and pay property tax on it. The amount of credit you receive is based on your income.
